It is possible that existing save files might encounter a bug. Some of the global switches could be reset.

This affects the following settings:

1. The desktop screen start

2. The character selection (Boy or Girl)

3. The language selection

If you're also affected by this error, you may need to delete the "config.rmmzsave" file after an update.

It's located in this folder: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Undershadows\save

Since this file won't be replaced locally during an update, everything should work again when you restart the game.

All you have to do is press "P" for the options on the desktop screen after the three tutorial messages are over and select your character and language again.
