Undead Awakens changes
Welcome to Undead Awakens
In this short post, I want to give you some insights into the current state of Undead Awakens, the team, the main goals of the project, and the upcoming first playtest.
Project Overview
Undead Awakens is an ambitious project currently being developed by a single person using Unreal Engine 5. My goal is to create a unique yet classic round-based zombie survival experience while involving the community early in the development process.
Currently, Undead Awakens is slightly over halfway through development. The core mechanics are already implemented, but they still require adjustments and fine-tuning. Right now, the focus is on completing the single-player mode and the local co-op mode. A multiplayer co-op mode will also be available in the future.
First Open Development Test
I am excited to announce that the first open development test will begin soon! This test will include the single-player mode as well as a local splitscreen mode for up to four players. Stay tuned for more detailed information about this soon!

I invite all of you to be part of this exciting first step. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and together we can make Undead Awakens an outstanding gaming experience! In this spirit, I am happy to share the link to our new Discord channel.
