Balance Updates

  • Pistol Shrimps damage reduced: 12 → 8.

  • Early-game improvements for new players:

    • Increased healing-orb drop rate in World 1.

New Enemies in the First Biome

  • Spinner: this little flying creature can summon spinning electric orbs that deal damage, and that you can destroy with your attacksSteam post image

  • Bouncer: This one will surely be hated. It’s a mindless creature that ricochets around the map whenever it hits terrain. Make sure you don’t touch it!Steam post image

Meta Progression

  • Reduced Soulshard requirements for several Soulbounds.

Improvements

  • Aim assist now targets enemy projectiles, making them easier to destroy.

Environment Interactions

We are making the world more reactive and fun to interact with — and more is coming!

  • Metal door pikes now react to hits.

  • Added destroyable barrels that can drop shellfish.

  • Pumpkins now react to hits.

  • Bushes and flowers now react to hits.

Polish

  • Added a vignette effect when successfully dodging an attack.

Fixes

  • Fixed Codex Soulbounds navigation issue when using a controller. • Corrected several localization entries.

  • Lyra Primary Attack and Olaf Secondary Attack could sometimes be blocked, making you unable to use them

Next Update Goals

  • Extend run length by adding more levels

  • Adding more content
