changedYou may have noticed that your rank in-game changed with the latest update. This is because we've taken steps to improve the ranked experience in the game. With the update, we made it so that players' skill level more accurately reflects their player ranks in regards to their results when playing versus other players.
changedThis means that some may have been bumped up or down after 1.7 went live. We originally intended this to be the case for competitive season 2, but went ahead and implemented it with the 1.7 update.
changedWith the upcoming competitive season, when we will be switching to a monthly rank reset - the Ace rank will now be something to strive for, instead of something that will be awarded to active players. This will become more apparent with Competitive Season 2. We hope that you enjoy this change and that it will make your rank progression a bit more exciting moving forward.
