Hi all! Hope you have been enjoying Ultimate Coaster X so far!! I've released 2 updates in the past few days. They add:
WASD camera controls (plus QERFTGYH for rotations, zooms, etc)
Slight performance enhancements
More graphical fidelity options that should allow the game to run smoother on older hardware
More demo coasters (a B&M Invert, a B&M Dive, and a ripoff of StormRunner @Hersheypark)
Clearer instructions for VR controls
Some startup crash fixes
Remap coaster editing control buttons (and add delete key to delete selected stuff)
"Recenter" button for VR mode
Export roller coaster models to .obj by riding them and pressing CTRL+SHIFT+E (ctrl+shift by itself will also toggle a debug menu, i probably should have mapped that to something else now lmao oops) (export directory is your windows user directory)
Roadmap to releasing 1.0:
Add Gerstlauer trains, staggerd B&M hyper trains, 4-across Intamin trains
Better SFX (this one will be tough)
Fix crashes (some peoples' games crash when they click "new" in the coaster window)
Add friction slider to roller coasters
Graphical fixes
B&M dive brakes sometimes appear to float above the track
B&M dive holding brake should be a chain
B&M hyper chain lifts should have a return channel (i may or may not be able to figure this out)
Intamin cables (hydraulic launches, cable lifts) sometimes glitch out
Improve wooden support generator
Water appears to glitch into the ground when zoomed out on some devices (im stumped on this one lmao, ive looked into it for hours)
