This update brings a fresh wave of new passengers, smarter systems, and plenty of polish across the cabin. From balance tweaks to major bug fixes, here’s everything landing in this patch.

✈️ GENERAL

  • Added kids.

  • Added babies.

  • Added passenger archetypes:

Regular. Business – reduced patience. Crew – increased patience, increased move speed, less neediness. Old – slower move speed, increased patience. Unaccompanied minors – slower move speed, increased neediness.

  • Reduced insert pickup hold duration requirement from 0.5s > 0.3s.

  • Passengers now pool at the beginning of the level instead of spawning in one by one.

  • Can now spray pax with fire extinguisher to stop them from smoking and prevent them from catching on fire.

  • Passenger attributes are now handled via data assets.

  • Rebuilt passenger customization logic to be data‑driven.

  • Rebuilt player customization logic to be data‑driven.

  • Added glasses and sunglasses to customization screen.

  • Added small chance for pax to not know how to open the bathroom door (top bathroom only for visibility).

  • Bathroom door open/close animation can now be interrupted.

  • Dashing with soda now causes it to explode.

  • Added coconut drink roguelike card.

  • New achievement – Explorer.

  • Cleaned up buggy beach ball physics.

🛜 NETWORKING

  • Toilet fires and overflows no longer happen in the lobby.

  • Fixed a bug where pilot request sound was not playing on clients.

  • Fixed a bug where trash pickup sound wasn’t playing on clients.

  • Fixed a bug where join session via code wasn’t working.

👀 VISUAL

  • Summer clothing.

  • Calendar spacing updates.

  • New oven icon.

  • New meshes:

⚖️ BALANCE

  • Increased UM neediness from 0.5 > 0.55.

  • Increased luggage spawn rate by 20%.

  • Reduced luggage help request chance from 46% > 36%.

  • Reduced dirty seat chance from 36% > 30%.

  • Elderly speed reduced from 85% > 80%.

  • Patience ordered (satisfaction‑based) range changed from 30, 40, 45 to 35, 40, 45.

  • Neediness values changed:

⇨ Regular pax 0.1 > 0.4 to 0.2 > 0.4. ⇨ First class pax 0.2 > 0.5 to 0.3 > 0.5.

  • Reduced passenger stomach strength:

⇨ This increases stinky chance and regular barf chance.

  • Increased stinky chance by 25%.

  • Increased argument chance.

  • Increased time from smoking to fire from 6s > 12s.

  • Reduced random passenger combustion chance.

  • Reduced dirty seat chance.

  • Endlessremoved hard choice on days 3, 8, 13, 18. Will now be regular random cards.

👥 MULTIPLAYER

  • Enabled online multiplayer in the demo.

🐛 BUG FIXES

  • Fixed a bug where default customization was blank or naked.

  • Fixed a bug where UM’s request widget was too high.

  • Fixed a bug where smoking could sometimes skip straight to fire.

  • Fixed a bug that caused fire extinguisher to forget “put out fire” progress on actors. This caused fires to be really hard to put out.

  • Fixed a bug where some items weren’t destroyed from insert affected by heatwave and could not be picked up/thrown away.

  • Fixed a bug where multiple heatwaves could spawn at once, causing the VFX to not leave the screen.

  • Fixed a bug where passengers holding objects could play idle break animations involving the hands they were holding the object with.

  • Fixed a bug where passengers holding objects could play happy animations involving the hands they were holding the object with.

  • Bathroom door opening sound no longer plays automatically when you start a level.

  • Fixed a bug where passengers would play the sitting request wave animation when standing.

  • Passengers will no longer play waving animation while holding objects.

  • Fixed a bug where counters could sometimes not be swapped.

  • Fixed a bug where the back button in the options menu sometimes wouldn’t work on further‑right tabs.

  • Fixed a bug where language wouldn’t stick when restarting the game.

  • Fixed a bug where the cat would just stand there and not run around like intended.
