addedThe game applies elements from classic city builders like SimCity and dives deeper into the political side of being a mayor, not often touched on by conventional city builders. In Uber Urban, not only must you build you city and manage taxes, services, demand and all the traditional elements, but you also have to manage your approval rating as well as yearly elections. While there is a MASSIVE roadmap I have planned, for the early access launch, those are going to be the main challenge elements. There are also going to be lots of "sub-features" (loans, policies, random events, procedurally generated maps, etc) further adding randomness and complexity to every city.

Dev Log #1 - Introduction

After roughly a year of development, I am so excited to, for the first time, share about my upcoming city-builder strategy sim, Uber Urban! The game is still in development but should 3-6 months away from entering early access.

I want this project to be very community driven and am always looking for input on where to take the game. Please, if you have any suggestion, create a post on the games discussion page. I have always felt that it is important for devs to be open with the community so I plan to post 1 - 2 dev logs per month showcasing all the intricate features and complexities of the game.

That's about it for the introduction and I can't wait to share more in the coming weeks!
