Tyr: Chains of Valhalla changes
Patch 1.03 is here and it comes with some exciting new features as well! On top of having more than 50 bug fixes and improvements, the player can show its best time with our new leaderboards system. If there was any time to get back into Tyr: Chains of Valhalla, this is definitely the time! Please keep the feedback coming on our Steam Forums Page. We will continue to make Tyr: Chains of Valhalla the best experience that we possibly can. Thank you all for your patience and support. Patch 1.03 Notes NEW FEATURES:
New and more detailed tutorial level.
Show green text color when you get a better time in the "Select stage screen".
Show red text color when you get a worst time in the "Select stage screen".
New "Settings menu" on in-game pause menu.
New bar to show dash cooldown.
Progress bar added in-game levels and updated each checkpoint.
Progression porcentage on "Select stage screen".
Remaining time indicator on "Loading screens".
Pause game when the controller is disconnected.
Now you can make a rapid shooting while smash the shoot button or hold you autoshoot.
IMPROVEMENTS:
Switch weapon at any time.
Switch element at any time.
Energy core's tab animation when receive a new energy core.
More delay in dialog texts when receive a new energy core.
Enemies' shots cooldown added when the player is detected.
Checkpoints, health packs and power-ups relocated in-game.
Sensitive dash and jump control.
New walljump, now needs to move your stick to the wall and jump.
Confirmation message added when select "Restart level" on in-game pause menu.
Confirmation message added when select "Main screen" on in-game pause menu.
Confirmation message added when select "Select stage" on in-game pause menu.
Enemies can not shoot you if they're out of the camera.
Tyr's bullets can not continue out of the camera.
Enemies' bullets lifetime reduced from 2 sec to 1.5 sec.
Tyr's bullets lifetime reduced from 2 sec to 1.5 sec.
Ymir (boss) attack animation speed change from 1 to 2 sec when he hits the floor.
Ymir (boss) shield attack animation speed change fron 1 to 1.5 sec.
Garm (boss) always shows and hide out after he attacks 5 times.
Niddhog (boss) color arrangement.
You can attack Veolfornir (boss) when he's on the left or right sides.
Levels and enemies balancing and reorder.
Unlock "Continue options" after complete the tutorial level.
VISUALS:
New VFX on HUD when a power-up is dropped.
Enemies' health bar change color to white when received a critical shot.
"Critical damage" spark on bosses when shoot them with the right element.
Blinking on bosses damage when received a non-critical shot.
Tyr's single shot particle re-design.
Fire viking's shot particle re-design.
Plasma viking's shot particle re-design.
Ice viking's shot particle re-design.
Plasma grunt soldier's shot particle re-design.
Fire grunt soldier's shot particle re-design.
Ice grunt soldier's shot particle re-design.
Plasma dragon turret's shot particle re-design.
Fire dragon turret's shot particle re-design.
Tyr blinks after shoot him.
FIXES:
Enemies' explosion animation.
Vertical platforms colliders.
Irregular dash jump in vertical axis.
Grenades colliders after explosion, now it reduces gradually.
Camera boundaries colliders.
Logi (boss) attack speed (head only).
Franky's attack stops with pause.
