Typenstein: A Symphony of Keys changes
This is my first post here since I was waiting for the demo to be more or less finished before starting proper marketing. But now I want to confirm that the demo is out NOW.
So the game is a tower defense typing game where you play as Doctor Typenstein, who needs to defend his castle along with his servant Igor against waves of villagers that want to destroy his home. As the owner of the castle, you need to guide your servant and pick which villager you want to attack.
The demo allows you to play the first 5 nights and ends at the beginning of night 6. This should be a nice showcase of the features of Typenstein. The full version will have more skills, Gargoyles, modifiers, and more. The game will also have a small story and progression through runs.
The goal is to polish the demo during the next couple of months and then do a final checkup during the October Steam Next Fest. After the event, the full release will happen somewhere between the middle of November and December.
The final release date might still change due to various circumstances, but this is what I’m aiming for now.
For now, you can pick the Enemy Language from a handful of options (English, Polish, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and Japanese). However, the game is translated only into English and Polish. I aim to change that soon—hopefully, for Steam Next Fest in October, the game will be translated to correspond to the Enemy Languages.
The final game will be around 5$/5€.
