This update focuses on controller support, better performance, bug fixes and balance changes.
Gameplay changes
Controller support. Gathering mode on controller works with this ray which can interact with all objects. Two interaction changes has been made to better fit this new system: All one-click to gather objects like gems/sticks need one click each now (cant hold click and sweep to gather many). All objects that need holding gathering button to gather like logs/rocks now need to be focused/hovered while gathering or the interaction will stop. These changes affect both M&K and controller.
New trading center panel that opens from the main Outpost building. Here you can trade your resources now
Trajectory line in aiming mode is now red
The DPS Tracker has been removed
Added a clickable pause button on the top right corner
Added controls panel in settings
Leaderboards have been reset for the update (best 100 endless mode scores for 1.2 version remain visible)
Balance Changes
Weapons
Spear's weight has been reduced by 50% which makes it travel in a more straight line and further
Spear's hitbox increased by 10%
Throwing Axes' hitbox increased by 20%
Suriken hitbox reduced by 10%
Turtles
Oceana's growl ability cooldown increased from 300s -> 345s
Oceana's bonus heal from fish reduced from x1.5 -> x1.4
Darwin's extra damage when standing/going slow is reduced from 20% -> 15%
Tortorix's damage returned increased from 20% -> 25%
Skills
Electric sparks now fly in a straight line (similar to Ice shards) and target enemies. Cooldown increased from 15s -> 25s
Thunderstrike (special attack) will now target enemy an enemy. Cooldown increased from
135s -> 170s
Ice shards will also fly towards close enemies
Base fire DOT increased by 30%
Base poison DOT increased by 20%
Acid blob's radius increased by 20%
Wind gust's cooldown increased from 20s -> 25s for level 1 and 10 -> 15 for level 2
Meteor Shower's fireball radius increased by 20%
General
Endless mode normal difficulty now progresses a bit faster on the first waves
Endless mode hard difficulty is slowed down
Increased apple/berry/orb/crow/rat/wood/stone/x mark/butterfly interacting areas by 10%-20%
Increased Beast's spawning tentacle cooldown from 10s -> 15s
Fixes
All interaction bugs in gathering mode should now be fixed
Performance in later stages of endless more where many enemies spawn should now be a lot better
Some sound effects that were low quality has been reworked.
Some minor visual bugs have been fixed
Thats all for now. This update took a long time cause along with the controller support i wanted to do major reworking on many core systems of the game for better performance and to make it easier to maintain/update in the future.
Next update will probably focus on new content with 1 new turtle and 2 new weapons.
