Tundralia: The Frigid Frontier changes
It's been just over a year since Tundralia first launched into early access and during that time we've seen 19 major and minor updates added to the game, including several new quests and areas to explore, and countless bug fixes!
I develop Tundralia in my spare time outside of my 9 till 5 job so the game is a labour of love and I've been blown away by all of the support I've received for it so far, it makes me so happy to see people playing the game that I've worked so hard on.
Saying that, one thing I've noticed when responding to player feedback is that people often struggle with understanding the controls of the game and how to play, so with that in mind. today's update brings the first of the major changes to Tundralia in 2026!
This 0.4 update adds a much needed tutorial to the game in the form of a new starting experience. This tutorial takes place on the island of Greystead, a small island on the mainland that new characters will start on and find themselves recruited by the Snowborn Pioneers onto an expedition to Tundralia. This tutorial will walk new players through systems like combat, equipment and using items, hopefully making the controls easier to understand before you embark on your adventure to the frigid frontier.
As with all updates, we plan on developing this further based on your feedback so please make sure to leave any comments on our steam message board.
Changes & Bug Fixes:
