[Developer’s Note #45] A Quick Project Update (with Announcements)

It has been a little while since our last update, so today we would like to share three quick topics to catch you up on what we have been working on.

Topic 1:

A new interview is now live!

This may actually be the first interview focused on TSURUGIHIME. It also includes details that have only been shared there, so please check it out.

Topic 2:

We are planning a closed beta test!

https://finalweapon.net/2026/03/13/tsurugihime-closed-beta-test-exclusive-announcement/ As also mentioned in the Final Weapon interview, we are currently preparing for a closed beta test. This test is planned as a battle-focused build centered purely on the action, without story content or RPG systems included. We have not forgotten about the demo version, but unfortunately it will still take more time before it is ready. Even so, we want players to get their hands on TSURUGIHIME as soon as possible and share their feedback, so we decided to run a small-scale closed beta focused purely on combat.

As for the entry requirements and full details...they are connected to the next topic, so please keep reading to the end of this post.

Topic 3:

Our official Facebook account is now live!

At the moment, it will be operated in English and Traditional Chinese only, but we would be very grateful if you could follow and share it. We would also like to take this opportunity to highlight our other official channels as well.

And finally, one important announcement. Applications for the closed beta test will be handled through the TSURUGIHIME official Discord server. Joining the Discord server will therefore be required to apply.

For this test, we want to gather detailed and meaningful feedback, so we expect to keep participation limited to a very small number of players. Slots may fill up quickly, so please keep an eye on the Discord server for the latest updates.
