addedBy popular demand, I am happy to announce the addition of the Original Beta Level of Try Not To Plummet as an additional free content update! Alongside this major content addition, this update comes with 4 new achievements added in relation to the Original Beta Level!
changedOriginal Beta LevelIn earlier builds of Try Not To Plummet the Original Beta Level was intended to be the main stage of game, though was scrapped in favour of the reworked main level that came with the initial release version of Try Not To Plummet. There were a number of factors that went into deciding this rework, though the major reason was the short length of the Original Beta Level, being half the length of the base game.
addedOriginal Beta LevelWhilst the overall gameplay experience of the Original Beta Level is quite similar to the base game, I would describe the Beta Level as vastly easier in comparison to the unforgiving nature of the base game's level design. The Original Beta Level having less blind jumps, no lasers, and no hook jumps - if you enjoy the mechanics of the base game but would rather not deal with as much stress while climbing, I would recommend giving the Original Beta Level an attempt. As it is vastly more forgiving, the Beta Level is perfect for both new players and veterans to hone and practice their skills whilst also providing a good challenge for everyone!
addedAchievementsWith this content update, there comes 4 new achievements relating to the Original Beta Level, with each pertaining to the 4 different modifier combinations available in the game's Extras menu. These 4 achievements include the following:
changedAchievementsBeat the Beta Level
addedAchievementsBeat the Beta Level with Original Physics Enabled
