What changed

0 fixes1 addition2 changes0 removals
  • UI and audio
  • Gameplay
changedThe VHS effect now adapts to the screen resolution, which prevents it from being too intense at lower resolutions. I’ve also moved its settings to a separate section in the options menu.
changedI stopped reinventing the wheel with a custom localization system and simply used existing solutions. Now, translations are even easier to create. There won’t be any issues like there were with the Roadside Cafe release.
addedI’m still polishing and adding to certain aspects based on tester feedback, which I’ll continue to do right up until the release on Friday.

Hi, everyone!

I'm happy to finally announce that the demo version of True Nightmare: Diner Loop will be available on August 7th.

As I mentioned earlier, I’ve taken a much more thorough approach to this release, and the very first version will be stable and user-friendly.

I still plan to expand its content over time, but I’d love to hear your feedback right now and hope you have a great time playing the game!

Some interesting points:

  • The demo takes about 20 minutes to complete, but given the unique nature of the Loop genre, playtime may vary from player to player.

  • The VHS effect now adapts to the screen resolution, which prevents it from being too intense at lower resolutions. I’ve also moved its settings to a separate section in the options menu.

  • I stopped reinventing the wheel with a custom localization system and simply used existing solutions. Now, translations are even easier to create. There won’t be any issues like there were with the Roadside Cafe release.

  • I’m still polishing and adding to certain aspects based on tester feedback, which I’ll continue to do right up until the release on Friday.

A huge thank you to everyone for your support - see you in a week!

  • Denis
