Our Trolls and Vikings now speak in Portuguese & Brazilian

Olá!

That might not be my usual greeting, but today it fits just right—we’re launching a major localization update for Trolls vs Vikings: Reborn! We’re now proudly catering to the Lusophone world with not one, but two new languages: Portuguese (Portugal) and Brazilian Portuguese. And to celebrate it we have joined Steam Summer Fest with a 20% discount sale!

Portuguese is the official language in 9 countries, and we’re thrilled to bring Trolls vs Vikings to even more players in these regions. Brazil in particular is a rising force in global gaming, and Latin America as a whole is exploding with creativity and passion for games—both playing and making them.

Having a dedicated Brazilian Portuguese patch is a first for me personally, and it’s especially meaningful—Brazil is a country I’ve spent a lot of time in, and I really hope to visit again. The same goes for Portugal. I truly cherish the people of these cultures: warm, friendly, feisty, and fun. Just like the language!

For this version, we had the pleasure of working with Rodolpho Morais, a passionate gamer and a creative force in the Brazilian music scene. He’s a designer who works on logos, record covers, and visuals for well-known artists and labels—and we knew he’d bring the right flair and humor to the translation. Huge thanks, Rodolpho!
