We would like to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who played the Trolls demo during Next Fest. We are trollishly grateful you spent your valuable time on the game, and hopefully you had fun doing it!
It sounds like it sits really well for most players, from the feedback we’re getting. To us devs it feels like the Reborn game, and the new balance, works as we had hoped it would. As expected, the brutal difficulty is a challenge. But not an impossible one!
During Next Fest we had tens of thousands of visitors to the Trolls site here on Steam, and we (thankfully) once again saw we had a stable build for y’all. We did get reports on some new bugs we didn’t know about, so we’ve been looking into them to fix them. Some of them were save related, so as a result today we implemented Steam cloudsave. That will be operational once we launch the game in a few days, and should solve that. We hope!
We also got reports from a few in terms of the balance on the shards, and even some solid ideas that we are actively considering. We may rebalance a little here and there as we go forward with the full game. But first, we want some data on the entire game before we make those changes.
So you know, we are then actively following the bug reports and suggestions we get, and try to act on them as quick as we can.
Hmm, I don’t think there is much more to say today! In a few days we are launching the full game. We plan some activities, and a new livestream too, so hope you will join us for that ride!
