Demo Patch Notes v0.3.0
New Ability Reroll!
Place on a card to reroll for a new random question, currently only costs 1 token so use it before it gets nerfed :)
Ability refunds
You will now keep abilities if answered correctly, lose them only if incorrect. To balance this, the ability costs have been increased accordingly. In the full release you will be able to ugprade abilities to make them cheaper and/or improve their effectiveness.
Random ability
Spend 3 tokens to receive a random ability, very handy for those scenarios where you have locked all the columns and only have 3 or 4 tokens.
Other ability changes
Abilities can only be used once per card
Cannot use any abilities on Rainbow Reaper card
Score Feed
In addition to the current consecutive bonus, the new score feed gives you a nice easy reference for your recent attempts. Important in future as the score will form the currency system!
Features & Updates
Settings menu (music/sfx volume, turn off tips, video settings)
Added 2 new categories General Knowledge & Technology
100 new trivia questions
Consistent difficulty distribution for each round (13 difficulty 1, 10 difficulty 2, 6 difficulty 3, 1 rainbow reaper).
Attempted questions will no longer repeat until all others within that difficulty have been attempted (please note, Demo only includes limited sample of ~600 questions so you will still get repeats after a while)
Complete rework of the save and stats system for future stability
Sneak peak of the Career Progress / Deckbuilder screen (locked in Demo)
Implemented custom cursor
Menu transitions have been improved
Bug Fixes
Score calculation issue on quick answers (thanks franiis)
Corrected a number of trivia questions
Updated scores to show thousands
Thank you to all of the YT reviews so far, it really helps us improve the game and get the word out there.
