Gameplay Improvements: Towns and Roads We continue to enhance the gameplay experience. Now, on the open map, you’ll find towns and roads with new, useful mechanics. In towns, players are safe and can remove cards from their decks at the blacksmith, restore health, and trade with NPCs. Roads are crucial for efficient travel across the island—they connect cities and require minimal action points to traverse.
Balance Improvements
New Base Effects and Universal Cards To add variety to the gameplay, some enemies now have starting effects. These effects are applied at the beginning of combat and can last for several turns or until the end of the battle. A new category of cards has also been introduced—Universal cards. These cards can be used in both Silence and Disarm states.
Enemies also received new Universal cards
for example, bandits will switch to melee combat if prevented from using other cards.
New Mythic Cards A range of new Mythic rarity cards have been added to the game. Typically, Mythic cards feature unique mechanics. Some can be used on both allies and enemies, others utilize random effects, and some rely on effect checks. These new cards could become a formidable weapon in the hands of a skilled adventurer!
Other Changes Our team has rethought other balance aspects: some monsters have been weakened or strengthened, the mechanics of certain game cards and their stats have been adjusted, numerous graphical inaccuracies have been fixed. We've also added new unique events, revising their frequency and appearance rules, and work on the CROWN shop is still ongoing.
