I'm several months into working on a 3D Metroidvania game called PITH. PITH is about exploring and finding items or secrets that recontextualize the rest of the game. Some areas are locked behind tools, others behind hidden knowledge.

PITH I'm going to be launching a demo playtest very soon and then the demo will be released shortly after.
