Fellowship of Doom — New Update

Hello Travelers!

A new update has arrived, bringing female characters, a shared team map, rune-stone fast travel, new quests, rewards and notes, more music, improved rope climbing, and a wide range of fixes, polish, and performance improvements.

NEW: Female Characters

You can now start your journey as a female character.

This is the first implementation of the feature, and more improvements and customization options may follow in future updates.

NEW: Shared Team Map

The world map is now a true co-op planning tool for your entire team.

Features:

  • Paint-style drawing tools with pencil and eraser

  • Multiple colors and brush sizes

  • Live synchronized drawing for all players

  • Persistent notes and drawings, saved per world

  • Mouse-wheel zoom for more precise planning

Mark resources, draw routes, warn your allies about dangerous areas, or prepare your next raid together.

NEW: Rune-Stone Fast Travel

Travel across the world faster by building and using rune stones.

Features:

  • Buildable rune stones with their own recipe

  • Teleport channeling with a 2D progress bar and 3D overhead indicator

  • Fast travel is interrupted by damage, movement, or death

  • Rune markers appear on the world map and can be clicked for travel

  • Drag & drop rune placement directly from the inventory onto the map

  • A travel confirmation dialog

  • Improved icons, numbering, and hover effects

NEW: Quests, Rewards & Notes

New content has been added to make exploration more rewarding.

Included in this update:

  • New quests

  • Quest rewards

  • Notes and written clues to support exploration and progression

This should help make the world feel more alive while also giving you more reasons to travel, explore, and search for hidden places.

NEW: More Music

More music has been added to the game to improve atmosphere and make the world feel richer during exploration and gameplay.

NEW: Audio Options Menu

You now have more control over the game’s audio.

New sliders:

  • Master Volume

  • Music Volume

  • Sound Effects Volume

UI Polish

The interface received a visual pass with a stronger medieval fantasy style.

Improvements:

  • Updated parchment-style UI

  • Better frames, markers, and panels

  • More consistent visual presentation across menus and map systems

  • Overall cleaner and more polished look

Gameplay Improvements & Fixes

  • Shift + Click now quickly moves items between containers and inventory

  • Bow arrow switching works properly again

  • Rope climbing has been improved and should now feel smoother and more reliable

  • Fixed the “+1 arrow” duplication bug

  • Fixed an issue where bed respawn could place the player below the ground

  • Destroyed rune stones now leave behind a collectible item

Performance Improvements

This update also includes optimizations under the hood.

Improvements:

  • Smarter AI load handling — distant NPCs think less often while still moving smoothly

  • Better FPS in situations with many enemies

  • Additional tuning for lighting, shadows, textures, and streaming

Thank you for playing, testing, and supporting the game.

See you beyond the wall.
