changedWe are ecstatic to inform you that we have a new gameplay trailer live on the page! So we transition into seeking our next stage of development funding, we thought it important to show off some of the work we have been doing on the game!A lot of thought went into the structure of the trailer and we’d like to give you a sneak peek behind the curtain of how the proverbial sausage is made. The structure was divided into 5 parts. The aim of the trailer is to give viewers a rough sense of Trash’s game loop
changedPart 3: Crafting Forms & Gain AbilitiesHere we show a fundamental loop of gameplay for the viewer. We introduce the concept of collecting resources and using them to craft and attach forms. Forms grant players abilities to help them survive and thrive in the Trashy World.
changedPart 4: Explore An Open World & Solve Procedurally Generated Challenge ZonesHere we show the players exploring Trash's open world biomes, specifically the starting Valley Biome. They make their way into the game's procedurally generated challenge zones, procedural mazes constructed from an array of unique puzzles. These include jump puzzles, hunts, turbines, winding pathways, creature nests ect.
changedPart 5: Cure The WorldHere we show that solving Challenge Zones removes hazards, allowing resin life to flow. Ideally we would show the features that are unlocked but we are not ready to show this yet! So you will have to stay tuned!

Hello Our Garbage People!

We are ecstatic to inform you that we have a new gameplay trailer live on the page! So we transition into seeking our next stage of development funding, we thought it important to show off some of the work we have been doing on the game!

A lot of thought went into the structure of the trailer and we’d like to give you a sneak peek behind the curtain of how the proverbial sausage is made. The structure was divided into 5 parts. The aim of the trailer is to give viewers a rough sense of Trash’s game loop

Part 1: Establishing The World

The trailer opens with the podcast recording of the cultist E-Corp CEO denying his role in the downfall of the planet and humanity at large. Helping establish the setting of the game and highlighting the fall of humanity.

Part 2: Emergence Of Resin Life

Next we begin establishing the concept of resin life, with emphasis on the player characters known as Morphites. These are the Trash based lifeforms that the players play as throughout the game.

Part 3: Crafting Forms & Gain Abilities

Here we show a fundamental loop of gameplay for the viewer. We introduce the concept of collecting resources and using them to craft and attach forms. Forms grant players abilities to help them survive and thrive in the Trashy World.

Part 4: Explore An Open World & Solve Procedurally Generated Challenge Zones

Here we show the players exploring Trash's open world biomes, specifically the starting Valley Biome. They make their way into the game's procedurally generated challenge zones, procedural mazes constructed from an array of unique puzzles. These include jump puzzles, hunts, turbines, winding pathways, creature nests ect.

Part 5: Cure The World

Here we show that solving Challenge Zones removes hazards, allowing resin life to flow. Ideally we would show the features that are unlocked but we are not ready to show this yet! So you will have to stay tuned!

Thanks so much for reading! You can support Trash by watching the trailer, showing your friends and most importantly WISHLISTING! Stay tuned for more garbage updates!
