First off, huge thanks to all of you who’ve jumped into the Trainfort alpha and shared your feedback so far: it really means the world to the all team. Based on your enthusiasm, we decided to keep the playtest open for now!
With that decision comes also a new update with a batch of improvements and fixes, including:
Battery packs now have an indicator Machines now have 2 buttons for packing Steam generator fuel consumption fixed Various power grid fixes Minor tweaks to machines Character now bound to Steam ID instead of nickname Teleport to spawn if you get stuck Resource container can now be packed Journal no longer spams new entry notifications Cartridge decoder now alerts if data was already extracted
But that’s not all…
Based on feedback, we implemented one experimental change we’d love your thoughts on. We noticed players were squatting a lot to pick up items, which could get tiring for some. So with the change now you can pick up things off the ground without crouching! You’ll still need to squat sometimes, just not as often
