Today, we're releasing a patch for the Frankenbahn: Stuttgart - Heilbronn AddOn.

Please allow up to 24 hours for the patch to arrive on your system. Some systems may update in standby mode without your notice.

Full Changelog

Frankenbahn: Stuttgart - Heilbronn

  • Added multiple new virtual destinations for AI displays

  • Shortened “Bietigheim Bissingen” to “Bietigheim” on PIS to prevent overflow.

  • Updated signal F832 to correctly show Zs7 in “Trackside Recovery”

  • Adjusted signals and stopping distances at Schwabstraße so 2 and 3 car S Bahn sets fit without blocking

  • Fixed shunt signal at Stuttgart Hbf blocking S Bahn services

  • Fixed areas of poor night lighting across the route

  • Fixed footstep and level crossing audio at two crossings

  • Removed snow under tracks and cleaned grass in road areas.

  • Removed platform numbers from Tief platforms 101/102 (not used IRL).

Timetable Updates

  • Added BR 423 to all Stuttgart lines

  • Fixed incorrect platform assignments causing routing issues

  • Added mint coaches to RE services (random mix of red + mint)

  • Added silver coaches as sub variants for N Wagens

  • Added mint 628s instead of red

  • ICE 3 now uses red stripe instead of eco green

  • Updated S Bahn PIS logic (e.g., S5 yard → Bietigheim now shows “Schwabstraße”)

Scenario Designer

  • Added new mint livery scenario designer formations

BR 423

  • Implemented onboard announcements

  • Removed opening alarms; replaced closing alarms with accurate versions

  • Updated door closing alarms to match visual indicators

  • Cab wipers now use the correct existing weather glass

  • Fixed issues with LODs in interior/exteriors to improve visuals

  • Added missing PIS Manager service registration (fixes short/full name behaviour)

    • Example: The 423 PIS will now use the short names which will look like:

      • S4 Schwabstraße

      • S5 Schwabstraße

      • S5 Bietigheim

      • S6 Schwabstraße

N Wagens

  • Added Mint livery variant

  • Disabled PZB brightness indicator

  • Replaced horn loop audio with a seamless version

Wittenberger Cab Car

  • Updated texture compression to reduce memory usage

  • Added battery voltage meter animation

BR 111

  • Added instrument dimmer bindings

  • Added German character glyphs for PIS displays

BR 140

  • Corrected cab spelling errors on desk and gauges

BNrdzf Cab Car

  • Fixed dimmer so brightness updates correctly

  • Updated train line power logic to work with both cable types
