Thank you!

Thank you very much for playtesting our first public version of Train Jumble. 256 people actively played the demo spending over 160 hours playtesting Train Jumble. We're a small studio with a small game but this is still something to be proud about! Thank you for spending your time, helping us make our game better!

Thank you for the 100 e-mails and discord messages you sent us with many constructive suggestions and ideas!

Patch notes

With that said, we're introducing a first patch for the Train Jumble playtest and will give access to anyone who was still waiting!

We're introducing the following updates to the game:

  • Unlimited action mode is now the default

  • Each mission now has a reduced map, to make the routes more interesting.

  • Added option to sell items in your inventory

  • Improved "next to X" desires for sideway seats

  • Increased the AOE of the window-module

  • Added a motion sickness mode that freezes the train in position (check the options to activate it)

  • Added edge pan to move the camera on top of the normal WASD and Mouse wheel movement (can be disabled in the options)

  • The next desires UI at the top, when in station, now only show what you are missing in your train and how many passengers want to get on your train. There is no penalty if not every passenger fits on the train. You can hover the UI to get more information.

  • Added missing main menu music

  • Added unlock counter to the main menu

  • lots of small bug fixes and usability improvements

We're curious how these changes affect gameplay and what you think! So head over to our Discord to discuss the changes and give us feedback! Steam post image
