addedWe've updated our old engine to a newer gen look! Going max settings might require a higher spec system (farewell xbox 360 specs), but we've also added a few more graphics options to fine tune game performance (try "Render Amount" on crowded maps!), and you can expect some optimizations later. Fortunately, the new and old TFC are compatible, so no need to worry just yet if your system can't yet run the new version, or you prefer the old look. There's a bunch of mostly minor changes added as well, but will lead up to much larger ones in the future.

How to Play: Opt-in to our public test version!

  • Right click on TFC in your library (or select the Settings cog on the game page)

  • Select Properties in the drop down menu

  • Under the properties tab Betas

  • Change Beta Participation drop down from None to publictest

Make sure your new version is ready and updated:

  • Go to properties tab Installed Files

  • Then use the 'Verify integrity of game files' feature

  • In library the game should be Train Frontier Classic [publictest]
