Order Fill Realism
Major overhaul to how market orders execute. If you've ever bought a $2.72 penny stock and watched yourself fill at $3.10, this one's for you.
Retail-style fills — Small and mid-sized market orders now fill at the displayed price plus a 1–3¢ tick offset, matching what you'd see in a real brokerage. No more crossing a wide spread on a 1-share buy.
Fills now stay within the visible candle range — Previously, a 1000-share short could fill at a price the chart never visually reached, making entries feel "off." Now any retail-sized order (up to ~2000 shares, or any size that fits within visible tick liquidity) fills at a price the chart actually supports.
Penny-stock spread cap — NANO/MICRO-cap stocks were getting effective spreads of 15–25% during high volatility due to stacking multipliers. Effective spread is now hard-capped at 2.5% per side, even during market stress.
Symmetric short & buy behavior — Both directions get the same execution treatment (buys: mid + 1–3¢, shorts: mid − 1–3¢). No hidden short penalty.
Large-order honesty — Orders that genuinely exceed visible liquidity still walk the book and park as pending, filling across multiple ticks at moving prices (closer to how real institutional execution works).
Quick Order Customization
The 6 quick-quantity buttons in the Order Panel are now yours to configure.
New Edit button — Click "Edit" next to the quick-quantity row to open a dialog and set your own 6 preset share counts.
Per-save persistence — Your custom presets save with your file and load back automatically.
Better workflow — Trade your way: prefer round lots? Set 100/500/1000/5000. Day-trading tiny size? Set 1/2/5/10/25/50.
Hedge Fund Fixes
A round of fund-related bugs caught and squashed:
Fixed: Moving capital between your personal account and your fund no longer triggers the Portfolio Loss Cap (which was incorrectly blocking trading after big transfers).
Fixed: Short positions opened from your own fund account were leaking into your personal portfolio view and dragging your personal net worth negative.
Fixed: Short sales from your fund account were calculating P&L incorrectly on close — every cover subtracted the full cost regardless of whether the trade was profitable. Short trade P&L now reflects the actual gain or loss.
Fixed: Quickly selling the same ticker twice from your own fund account would close your short instead of opening another one. Smart routing now properly distinguishes longs from shorts.
Fixed: Quarterly fund returns were reading zero due to a price-field typo. Returns now calculate correctly.
Fixed: Rejected orders could get stuck firing on every price tick (e.g., a margin-rejected parked market order). Rejections now properly clean up.
Fund cash limits are now correctly enforced when trading from your own fund account.
Under the Hood
Market-order sweep was discarding ladder-walked prices and recomputing slippage against the full order size on every slice — fixed.
Every fill threshold and tick offset is exposed via TradingConfig for modders/tweakers.
