Toymaker: Threads of Joy changes
It's time we tell you some news about some of the things that we’ve been working on since the last update post.
Starting with a new mechanic that you’ll certainly love:
🔧 More customization!
You’ll be able to change the size of the details! You'll be able to make them bigger and smaller! This way you have even more freedom to customize your plushies the way you want!
This is something many people wanted us to add, and it was a really good idea. So we've worked on it and it'll be available in the game.
We hope you enjoy this new upgrade to the customization mechanic as much as we’ve been enjoying it!
Permanent improvements and QoL features:
🔧 Upgrades for your tools! You’ll be able to sew your plushies automatically, but it will lower the quality of it!
✒️ Progress on Act I! We’ve made a lot of progress on the story of the first act!
⚙️ More bug fixes! We've been fixing as many bugs as we’ve found. This way, we can have a better and cleaner launch with the full game release.
🎁 Digital in-game rewards! We’re currently working on the digital in-game rewards for those who supported us on Kickstarter! More on that on the backers post on Kickstarter!
👽 We’re going to Gamescom! We are heading to Gamescom in Germany this 26th - 30th August and will be attending the event to show Toymaker! Hope we see you there!
That’s all for today! Oh, I almost forgot! Remember that clue that I told last post about a thing that starts with the letter “D” and ends with “iscord Server”? Well, we are testing the server with a lower amount of people to see if things work as intended. If you’re a Kickstarter backer, you’ll have access to it via our monthly update post. Soon, it will be public for everyone and we’ll make a post about it, so stay tuned!
Also, let us know if you prefer this kind of posts, if you want something longer and more detailed or even shorter! We will review the feedback and inform you the way you prefer.
See you soon, toymaker!
