The countdown is officially in the single digits. As we prepare for our full launch this Monday, we’ve pushed one final, big update to the Demo (v1.5.2).
We wanted to make sure you had the best possible version of the game to play over this final weekend! This update brings over a wealth of content and refinements from version 1.5, giving you a real taste of the release version of the full game.
New Features & Content
- The Parliament BuildingNow available! Building this unlocks policies which essentially add additional Favor Cards to each level, adding a new layer of strategy to your rule.
Tavern Dice Mini-game: Take a break from city planning and try your luck!
New Disasters: Nature is getting restless! Watch out for rats, earthquakes, meteors, falling stars, and the scorching sun.
- Fresh Choice EventsNew narrative encounters that will test your leadership.
Reworks & Improvements
Farm Rework: You can now choose your crops! It’s a great visual way to customize your rural landscape.
Sawmill 2.0: The Sawmill is no longer just for harvesting; it can now reforest nearby terrain, making your industry more sustainable.
Hybrid Mode QoL: By popular demand, you can now skip the day in Hybrid Mode to keep the pace exactly where you want it.
Technical Polish
Keybindings & Controller Support: Full keyboard support is now live with dynamic input glyphs (visual icons for your keys/buttons). We’ve also overhauled controller responsiveness for a smoother, snappier experience.
Compendium Tweaks: Navigation and data layouts have been refined for better clarity.
Steam Deck: We’re in the final stages of official verification! The demo is already fully playable on handheld, and we’d love to hear how it feels on your Deck.
