Incredible participation

First of all: thank you to everyone who joined our second closed playtest for Towns of Yore!

Over 280 players signed up for the playtest, and seeing so many of you jump in and share feedback was honestly amazing. The amount of valuable feedback and insights we received will help shape the future of Towns of Yore. We will share more detail (and a fun graphic) in another future blog post!

During the playtest weeks, many of you shared your live reactions, creations, screenshots, and questions in our Discord channel. Seeing players engage with the game in real time was incredibly motivating and just really fun to watch.

At the same time, we carefully documented bugs, frustrations, balancing concerns, and general feedback. Every message helps us improve Towns of Yore.

One of the highlights for us was receiving beautiful screenshots and pictures of your villages and progression throughout the game. The pictures shown below were created and shared in our discord by Evester!

A very rough roadmap

With the increasing attention surrounding Towns of Yore, we also wanted to share a very rough roadmap for the game. And we really mean rough.

We are a small indie studio, which means plans and timelines may shift as development continues, feedback comes in, and new challenges appear. Still, we wanted to give everyone a general idea of where we are heading.

Thank you again to everyone supporting Towns of Yore. Your feedback, excitement, and creativity continue to help shape the game every day.
