Repeated intro
Hey everyone and welcome to the Tower Unite dev log for June 30th, 2026! We hope you all have been staying safe and cool this summer!

We haven’t had a dev log in a while since the team has been focused on Elevator, but we wanted to give an update on what’s been going on with Tower in the mean time and what we’re hoping to get to work on soon!
Updates
Since the last dev log we released the Anniversary Part 2 update and have continued work on our bug round up as well as QoL fixes to items and various areas of the game!
We want to get to work on an Arcade update and have started working on cabinet artwork again! We’re hoping to have a few new Arcade games added to the arcade, along with new prizes.
We’re also still hard at work on VR, which we’ll have some updates on hopefully very soon.
Aside from that, here’s whats been going on behind the scenes:
Plaza
For the next update (Update 1.1.5.0 + Bug Fix Round-Up Update #2), a few fixes were done for some areas of the Plaza. You’ll have access to the Anniversary After-party store which can be used to redeem anniversary coins after the events are over.
There are also upcoming fixes to the billiards balls and improvements to how bowling pins are cleaned up! These fixes should help keep all billiards balls from flying out, and resolve the bowling pins not respawning sometimes. It also fixes the billiards cue ball randomly stopping and hitting an invisible wall.
We also did a fix to the “I Can See My House From Here” achievement, so it should be working once the update is out.
Game Worlds
Game World fixes are implemented as of the Anniversary Pt. 2 update release. There was a fix for boost volumes desync in custom maps on Ball Race. For SDNL, we made it so super weapons default to weapon slot 8, fixed an issue with super weapons creating “ghost” weapon slots, and made improvements to weapon switching with the scroll wheel!

Condos
The Anniversary Part 2 update included a fix to Condo IO persistent connections. These connections should now properly disconnect when disconnected or when the item is changed.
For the next update we have an improved light bake on Condo: Suite which should prevent light bleed from the back wall and sunlight from shining through walls in general.
There was also a fix to several “Sky” surface materials not being select-able when a World Aligned material was currently selected.
Item fixes
In addition to a couple fixes for material regressions and minor bugs with different items, we did some QoL fixes to Teleporters, Curtains, Note items and several Door items!
Teleporters
Teleporters now have a property that lets you enable a transition fade out instead of them instantly teleporting the player. It fades to a color, teleports the player, then fades back in. We also added the TeleportActivator IO, which input allows players to remotely use a teleporter through IO, no longer requiring them to directly interact with it or be inside it!
Curtains & Doors
The curtain items got an art pass, Canvas URL support, and two new patterns! There were bug fixes for how the Vault Door behaves when you select variants, and doors which use a Skeletal Mesh (shutters, garage doors, etc.) now support the “Open Range” property, meaning you can decide how far the doors open or shut.
Multi Mesh Tag
There is also now a “Multi Mesh” tag which will allow you to sort out items that have different Variants or properties that change the model!
Item Additions
Finally, we have a few new items we wanna share!
Canvas Physics Primitive
Which is a primitive (sphere, cube, pyramid) that has canvas functionality and physics functionality!
