Tournament Ark changes
It’s been quite a bit! I will never get over how much love people have shown to this small game. To everyone who tried the game, to everyone who recommended the game, to everyone who made a youtube video, to everyone who left a review, to everyone who competed in the rankings for a high score: Thank you so, so very much.
This game was made to share my passion for deck builders, card games and silly references. Maybe too many references, but can’t deny there is passion behind them.
Now, for today’s topic, the big update! 1.4 grew from a couple of quality of life fixes to much, much more.
General Changes:
Added a new unlockable: Specializations! 51 of them, to be precise. These are perks you can grab before the run even starts, all of them with an upside and a downside, changing how the run goes.
Ark points got turned into Gold, a currency you can get in game by defeating bosses! And as the Ark Points before, by getting achievements.
All basic outfits are unlocked by default.
Added 11 new fighters to the rival’s pool.
A very basic tutorial was added for new players.
Critical projectiles now have a different effect.
Reworked the main menu.
And the character creator.
Several UI changes, actually.
Added outlines to characters.
Balance:
Buffed “The Hunt is on”.
Bugfixes:
Added a perk that was missing from Magical Girl: Creative Mind.
Trial of Wounds no longer allows you to remove wounds when removing cards.
Now when a player leaves the name field empty it actually changes to “Protagonist”.
