As promised last time, after a month of self-adjustment, we're ready to dive back into developing the next major content update!

Tournament, here we come—but first, let's take a look at the updates we've prepared in the meantime.

What's New in This Update

  • Added 4 new puzzles!

  • Players can now skip the puzzles involving deck unlocking by playing a new card added into these puzzles.

  • Adjusted difficulty levels for certain opponents: Rumia (dialogue only), Marisa Kirisame, Reimu Hakurei, Huge Kedama, Momiji Inubashiri, Yugi Hoshiguma, Yuuka Kazami, Suwako Moriya, Reisen Udongein Inaba.

  • Illustrations updated: Hatate Himekaidou.

Upcoming Development Plans

Yes, the main event is next: the Tournament.

This game mode, mentioned multiple times both within the story and outside the game, is actually the main content we prepared for our game.

Unlike the current Practice Match, the Tournament will let players freely explore randomly generated maps, encounter different opponents, experience unique events, and gain varied rewards—but don't waste too much time, or you'll be disqualified!

In fact, we completed a playable prototype for this mode nearly two years ago and conducted small-scale public tests, so there's no need to worry we're moving too fast.

However, these past two years have deepened our understanding of game design, so we won't be standing still in terms of details and content.

Additionally, during tournament development, we'll continue updating card illustrations and regularly releasing new puzzle levels, if it won't hinder our progress.

In short, stay tuned!
