Today is May 14th – Koishi Komeiji's Day! ~
I'm the lead of "Zero Research Institute" and the indie game developer "Professor Zero" ~
Today, I'm bringing you a lovingly crafted game PV for Koishi – to cheer her on!

In this pilot PV of Touhou Koi-Mystery, a total of 4 Touhou characters (strictly speaking, 4.5) appear~ Did you spot them all?
After several years of changing game engines, recruiting members, relocating our studio, and many other ups and downs, development on Touhou Koi-Mystery has finally returned to the right track.
First, I want to apologize to all of you who have been waiting anxiously. Due to limited production capacity, we couldn't prepare a preliminary demo for this year's May 14th (Koishi's Day). Unfortunately, we can't show you Koishi's elegant battle animations just yet.
As compensation and as a preview, we made this promo PV instead.
After about a year and a half of scrapping and redoing, the game's story has been heavily revised. Almost all script content except for the opening has been completely rewritten. Feel free to speculate: how did Koishi get into a fight with that fairy in the PV? And who is the mysterious person holding the Great Fairy?
The gameplay and systems are also very different from before, incorporating inspiration from many other games that the development team has played in recent years. The result is a real-time turn-based combat system.

💚 Future Plans
Since many of you are worried about development progress, we plan to resume posting update logs next month. Updates on the combat system and more will follow.
We'll continue fixing combat system bugs and moving the project forward. We hope to show gameplay footage in June (doubtful possibility of a playable demo?).
The first vocal image song for Koi-Mystery is expected to be premiered on June 21st at the Koishi-only event in Hangzhou.
Fixed the bug where the programmer wasn't working.
Improved the studio's meal standards.
The path ahead is set. Thank you all for your years of support.

And for those new to the game, let me reintroduce Touhou Koi-Mystery:
Touhou Koi-Mystery is a fan-made game based on Touhou Project. It's a strategic adventure RPG with dice at the core of its combat.
One day, Koishi hears from her sister about the existence of a "cursed poem" that can bring death. She then makes a bet with her sister: whoever uncovers the truth of the legend first wins.
Setting out from the Palace of the Earth Spirits, Koishi travels across all of Gensokyo, gathering clues and helping the youkai she meets solve their local legends. In the end, she will uncover the whole truth and return to the palace to fulfill her promise with her sister.
Along the way, she encounters all kinds of bizarre legends – and many unique girls. Some are destined rivals who block her path, others become friends who lend a helping hand.
