Totally Secure Airport changes
Hey agents!
We're genuinely grateful that so many of you showed up to test the game at such an early stage. We've been reading all your feedback, and it's given us an honest picture: the game is fun, but it is held together with duct tape and good intentions.
We love this game, but we're a small team, and that means we don't have the capacity to test every build ourselves before it reaches you. That's why we'd like our community to be our eyes and our ears 👀
We've read every report. Below is a list of the issues you pointed out and what we're fixing right now. None of it went unnoticed:
Tutorial & clarity - the tutorial and instructions aren't clear enough, and there's a lack of visual guidance. It's hard to tell what to do, how mechanics work, and how to manage passengers and baggage
NPC behavior - passengers ignore instructions, move incorrectly around the airport, and rush through checkpoints too fast. There are also bugs affecting character control
Controls & interaction - interacting with objects and characters is buggy and inconsistent (picking up items, placing baggage on the belt, and managing passengers all need work)
Difficulty & pacing - there's too little time to check documents and act, passengers move too fast, and there's no way to control their speed
Tech performance - performance issues, and low FPS during gameplay, with no settings available to address them
The playtest closes tomorrow so we can work through this list without new reports coming in while we're mid-fix. After that, we'll keep reopening the playtest so you can come back and try the updated build.
Thanks everyone! This airport will be totally secure. See you back at the checkpoint soon. ✅
