TOTALLY BASEBALL changes
Bug Fixes:
Resolved an issue causing the Zevo Games introductory splash screen to cut itself short on the SteamVR and Viveport versions of the game.
Clicking the join button on a game within the lobby browser no longer results in an infinite hung loading screen when the join process silently fails. Instead, the player now correctly gets returned to the lobby browser.
The current play now properly resets when dropping the ball at the AI pitcher’s feet in 1v1
Human catchers can no longer yank the ball away from the human batter in 1v1, robbing the batter from batting the ball
Fixed AI runners in 1v1 running bases when the ball is dropped in the outfield after a walk or an overthrow
Fixed the game treating walks as in play balls when the human batter is beaned but hits the ball with the bat at the same time
Fixed the AI catcher getting sometimes stuck on walk events and not throwing the ball back to the pitcher
Fixed AI runners running 2 bases on an overthrow if the ball is dropped in the outfield right before they reach base
Fixed AI runners sometimes stealing home from third base on a foul ball
Fixed players sometimes not being able to grab the skip lever
Fixed players sometimes not being able to manually grab the ball
Fixed the player slowly sinking into the ground over time
Fixed an issue preventing players from creating another multiplayer game after going into a multiplayer game and backing out to the lobby together
Applied a general fix for the AI catcher sometimes getting stuck in multiplayer 1v1
Fixed an issue causing paid players to see the cannon, special pitches, and batflips purchase prompts
Fixed an issue causing the joined player in multiplayer 1v1 to either end up on a black screen or see their TV menu turn off when the host appears in the locker room for them if they got to the locker room before the host did
Fixed the 1v1 and free roam menu titles showing up at the same time when a created lobby is still loading
Fixed players being taggable on a homerun in multiplayer 1v1 if the ball bounces off the fence before leaving the field
Improvements:
Adjusted the shader on the local player’s hands to match the skin shader used on all other bodies in the game
Made AI players in multiplayer 1v1 attempt to pick up the ball again after fumbling instead of just standing there
Made the AI catcher in multiplayer 1v1 wait until the foul popup finishes playing to throw the ball back to the pitcher
