Tormentum - Dark Sorrow changes
A game developer, obsessed with one impossible idea - building a world inhabited by characters with minds of their own - acquires a mysterious processor from a stranger. He installs it. The visions begin.
He wakes up imprisoned on an island in the world he created. But it isn't the world he designed. It's darker, more hostile, and there are rumors of a god living on one of the distant islands - a god he never put there.
That's where Tormentum II begins.
It launches on Steam on July 23, 2026.
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal adventure inspired by the work of Zdzisław Beksiński and H.R. Giger - gothic, dreamlike, somewhere between sleep and waking. A place where you'll want to stop and look around as much as keep moving.
Steam post image What we put into this game:
Over 150 locations, each painted by hand. Years of work, brushstroke by brushstroke.
A dozen islands to explore. Several times the size of the first Tormentum, and the largest thing we've ever made.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack that sits heavy in every scene.
A branching story with multiple endings.
Puzzles and exploration as part of the story, not separate from it.
A long journey - much bigger than the original.
Steam post image If you're new to Tormentum, here's the short version of the first game's reception:
"One of the best point-and-click adventure games I've ever played."- Game Walkers, 9/10
"Every single piece of art is absolutely stunning."- Pixel Related, 9/10 92% Very Positive on Steam, over 2,400 reviews.
We hope Tormentum II earns the same kind of place with you.
