changedCopied from the discord, here is a detailed list of ways to setup different controllers. If you're using a mayflash with a PC switch, just switch it to PC and your controller should work automatically(that is the controller the game is set up for by default) For anyone who has an official Gamecube controller adapter and would like to use it, install this: http://m4sv.com/page/wii-u-gcn-usb-driver and then paste this into your Documents/BYOND/cfg/joysticks.txt: vJoy Device vendor = 4660 product = 48813 buttons = Face1,Face2,Face3,Face4,R1,R2,L2,,Up,Down,Left,Right axes = 0,1,3,4 then go to the Controls menu, Gamepad Config, and hit A, B, X, Y, R, Z, Escape, Backspace in that order(edited) that should hopefully work If you are trying to use a standard controller(xbox 360, etc) and find that some of the buttons dont work(usually the triggers) do the following: 1. press the windows key, type "controller", then click on Set up USB Game Controllers 2. Find the name of your device in this panel. The name is what you'll need to set things up. 3. Open my documents\byond\bin\yutput\grail etc and then in the bin folder, find joysticks.txt. Copy the data from one of the existing 360 controllers in that folder and paste it at the bottom, changing the name to whatever windows said the name of your controller is. Save and do the same in joysticks.txt found in the cfg folder. 3. It should now work! Report to me your controller name and data so that I can have it be supported by default When playing in online mode or solo mode make sure that your controller that you want to use is player 1. if you're using a gamecube adapter, make sure you're plugged into port one. If it still doesnt work, make sure there are no other controllers plugged into your pc. If that still doesn't work, press windows key -> type "controllers" -> view what your pc things is currently recognized as a gamepad(could be a vjoy device, etc) and uninstall it.
