Hi everyone,
Top Check update 0.3.0 is out now! This update primarily focuses on increasing the game's overall polish.
Here's a summary of the changes introduced in this update:
Add the new Conquest mode option to Roguelike Run
In Conquest mode, you can complete a challenge either by checkmate or by capturing all enemy pieces except the King
This option is intended to increase accessibility of the game mode to players who aren't familiar with mating patterns
Reduce starting pawn reserves in Roguelike Run (3 -> 1)
Reduce the cost of the Plague card (5 -> 4)
Adjust the Pawn Army game modifier
Now reads "Every 4 turns, your opponent will summon a pawn if possible."
Update challenge generation to favor using duplicate pieces
Remove cards with the Leader trait from the Roguelike Run starting deck pool
Update some trait descriptions to improve clarity
References to traits on cards and tooltips are now colored yellow
Improve deck builder error handling
Rename AI Battle game mode to Versus CPU
