ToMyX changes
🛠️ The ToMyX™ demo keeps improving thanks to your feedback
It’s been a while since my last post, but I definitely haven’t been idle.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been going through all the feedback you’ve shared after playing the demo, and a few things kept coming up repeatedly: uneven pacing, sections that felt a bit slow, moments where it wasn’t entirely clear what to do, and small details that could take you out of the experience.
So I took the opportunity to put together a fairly comprehensive update that I think was really needed.
🌐 New languages available
The demo is now also available in:
Japanese
Simplified Chinese
Adding them wasn’t just about translating text — quite a bit of content had to be adapted to fit properly within the game.
Because of that, there may still be some lines that feel a bit off or unnatural. If you happen to speak Japanese or Chinese and notice anything strange or that could be improved, any feedback is more than welcome.
💾 Autosave and smoother structure
One of the most important changes is the addition of autosave.
Until now, replaying sections could feel a bit long and tedious, especially when moving between the Visual Novel, minigames and encounters. This also affected the overall flow.
With this change, replaying specific parts is much more straightforward, and you can move between sections without feeling like you have to go through everything again.
The goal here is to make the experience less frustrating and more enjoyable.
🧪 Gameplay and pacing adjustments
I’ve also been tweaking several parts of the game that, based on your feedback, weren’t working as well as they should:
“Suck” levels are now smoother and less abrupt
Some “Farm” phases have been adjusted to be clearer from the start
The Final Judgment now gives you more time to answer, avoiding mistakes due to rushing
Overall, the idea has been to reduce those moments of “I’m not really sure what’s going on” and make things clearer, while keeping the chaotic feel of the game.
⚙️ General improvements
Alongside the main changes, I’ve also polished a number of smaller details. Highlights include:
The “Suck” sound effect has been changed, as it was quite annoying
The game start is now more direct
Unnecessary waiting times have been reduced
Several dialogues have been reviewed and adjusted
Some levels have been tweaked to improve readability
Various minor adjustments that, together, improve the overall pacing
