Improvements

UI Updates

The UI has received a small glow-up to prepare for upcoming visual improvements.

  • General polish across UI elements on the instrument grid

  • Groundwork laid for instrument-specific sprites

Sprites for (almost) every instrument are currently in progress and should start rolling out next week.

Fixes

  • Fixed a minor hitch when the crowd cheer sound effect loads for the first time

  • Fixed an issue in Master Mode where rapid press/release of modifiers could cause unintended misses

  • Fixed an issue where difficulty up/down buttons didn’t work after selecting an instrument

    • (Left/right navigation was still functional, but now both methods work as expected)

In Development

Online Multiplayer

A lot of development time is currently going into online multiplayer.

The goal is to have an early version available on the unstable branch as soon as:

  • Next Friday, or

  • The following week depending on progress

More updates coming soon - including instrument sprites and the first look at multiplayer.

Thanks as always for playing and for all the feedback!

Keep on jammin' 🎶
