2021-03-05 Update v0.1.8

We have a bunch of awesome improvements on the gameplay this time based on the various feedbacks from our players. Here are some of the highlights:

FEATURES AND CHANGES

  • New House and Cave for the player. Player is provided with a starting house, bed, storage and some planters at the start of Corral Atoll.

  • Player speed increased from 340 to 400

  • Smoother item pickup system. We took out the pickup animation and increased pickup range.

  • Increased stack capacity for many resources from 20 to 50.

  • Increase in overall value for hunger and thirst fulfillment for all food and drinks.

  • Decrease speed of hunger and thirst natural meter consumption.

  • Increase the number of drops for some resources and enemy.

  • Increase position of player camera and change FOV from 75 to 120. (Wider player vision)

  • Increase golem speed from 320 to 400.

  • Increase speed when mounting golem to from 320 to 420

  • New golem Interact and UI system. Press F(Keyboard) to call golem anywhere in the level.

  • Press F(keyboard) to interact with golem. This avoids clashing with pickup item action.

  • Fatigue meter drops slower

  • New hunger and thirst system. When hunger and/or thirst meter is empty it will impose a penalty on the fatigue bar instead of the health bar. Players can no longer die from hunger and thirst.

  • Having a full hunger and thirst bar will trigger the ‘well-fed’ bonus. When well fed the fatigue meter won’t go down for 2 minutes.

  • Players will no longer die when your golem dies.

  • When a golem dies, there is a 1 minute penalty before the golem revives again with 20% health.

  • Performance optimization. It should run better on mid to lower specs PCs now.

  • Some post-processing graphical adjustment. The colour is tone-down slightly.

  • Many bug fixes!!!
