To the Core changes
Hi! We're rolling out the first patch to the game, to address some feedback we've seen so far. New Features:
Camera look inversion is now possible. Look for the new option in the settings menu.
Changes & Improvements:
Emily's movement feel has been tweaked a lot: acceleration/deceleration, air control, etc. Walking should feel less ice-y now. Let us know if you feel it's better or not!
Emily's running animation has been sped up slightly, to feel more in sync with the distance covered.
Improved consistency of headjumping.
Timer on the HUD is now hidden in normal (random) games. This is to help ease new players into the game and reduce pressure.
Changed collision in some level sections to prevent enemies from walking into lasers on their own.
Adjusted placement of lasers in some level sections to be a bit more forgiving.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed the game not starting up at all for some users who are missing some required dependencies. They should now be installed for you when you start the game.
Fixed Shield Centurions freezing when power-punched at the right time.
Fixed vase shatter sound and Dad's tips not respecting the sound volume setting.
Fixed some achievements unlocking for seemingly no reason.
Fixed Centurion stun sound continuing to play after death.
Fixed Boombas not always dropping core shards after they detonate.
Fixed Dad's comment about the health packs in the dead end area not playing.
Known Issues:
We are aware of crashes related to memory and video failure. If you are experiencing crashes, please get in touch in the Discussions forum. We'll ask you to send us some crash diagnostics data.
This update may reset your audio volume settings (but only once).
