Been way too long for you all to have an update. Short answer: this next chapter is going to be finishing up Part 2, and therefore is extremely large with a lot of content.

changedBeen way too long for you all to have an update. Short answer: this next chapter is going to be finishing up Part 2, and therefore is extremely large with a lot of content. I'll give you the answer you're most seeking up-front: the Steam release will be within a week or so of the release anywhere else. Just enough time for me to quash some initial bugs and build out the Steam specific features in the code and UI.
addedDevelopment hasn't stopped at any point, though I am sure it feels like that to all of you. Unlike my luck with some previous cycles, this development cycle's story is everything take 2-3 times as long as I hoped. A lot of that is due to the size, but also the unexpected "joys" of development problems. Things are progressing well, there is just so much content to produce renders, scripts, and new code for.
changedChoosing the order of some key events

Some of the big things that are decided in the next release:

  • Queen chosen

  • Setting the harem pecking order

  • Some key alliances, both foreign and domestic

  • Advisors to help guide you (and bicker amongst themselves)

  • Key choices in how you will govern

  • Choosing the order of some key events

My poor outline and development bible have been given quite the workout, and boy do I wish this was something I could snap my fingers on to deliver. Did not think I'd be up against GTA VI for who would release first.

Enjoy some previews, and please let me know in the comments how often you'd like to get updates here. I've gotten feedback in the past to keep it mostly to release announcements and bug fixes, but happy to change that, if you all are feeling too in the dark.
