集墨聚场™:三国(单机版) changes
First, we would like to thank all players who have continued to follow and support Jimo: Three Kingdoms.
Whether you purchased the game, left a review, joined discussions, or shared your suggestions, your feedback has continuously helped us improve and expand this project.
The original release was designed as a story-focused Three Kingdoms adventure. However, we also realized that it did not fully meet the expectations of some players who were looking for a deeper RPG experience. We received many valuable suggestions regarding combat depth, exploration, character progression, and other aspects of the game.
During the development of the Enhanced Edition, we took another look at the overall direction of the game and found that the character growth, strategic combat, and storytelling experience of JRPGs better matched the type of Three Kingdoms adventure we wanted to create.
Based on this direction, we have further upgraded the turn-based combat, linear exploration, and team progression systems, with the goal of evolving Jimo: Three Kingdoms and future titles in the series into more complete and distinctive Three Kingdoms JRPG experiences with a unique Chinese ink-inspired art style.
Enhanced Edition Public Test Schedule Adjustment
On July 24, we will still release a new game version update as planned, allowing players to experience part of the improvements coming with the Enhanced Edition.
However, compared with the original release, the Enhanced Edition includes extensive content expansions and system upgrades. The overall scale of these changes goes far beyond a typical game update.
After discussion, we have decided to add an approximately one-week public test phase before the official release of the Enhanced Edition. This will allow us to ensure that this major upgrade is delivered in a more stable and complete state.
During the test phase, we will continue collecting player feedback and make final improvements based on actual player experiences.
After the public test concludes, we will officially release the Enhanced Edition as a major update.
July 24 Version Update
Although the official release date of the Enhanced Edition has been adjusted, we will still release a new version update today.
This update will introduce some of the Enhanced Edition improvements in advance, including:
- A more complete JRPG experienceThe story-driven experience will remain available, while Standard and Challenge difficulties will introduce deeper character progression, combat strategy, and growth systems.
A reworked fast-paced puzzle combat system: Through skill combinations, shield management, and burst timing, battles now offer deeper strategic choices.
Improved visuals and usability: UI, information presentation, and interaction feedback have been optimized for a smoother experience.
Players can experience these improvements through the new update.
At the same time, we will begin the Enhanced Edition public test, allowing players who are interested to experience the upcoming content in advance and help us complete the final optimization and stability testing.

The Goal of the Enhanced Edition
The Enhanced Edition is not just a regular update.
During development, we re-evaluated the future direction of Jimo: Three Kingdoms. We believe that preserving the original story-driven adventure while expanding deeper JRPG systems can better meet players' expectations for a Three Kingdoms RPG experience.
Going forward, the Jimo: Three Kingdoms series will aim to provide two kinds of experiences:
A lightweight, story-driven adventure experience;
A more complete Three Kingdoms JRPG-style experience featuring Chinese-inspired artwork, strategic combat, character growth, and progression systems.
The Enhanced Edition will focus on the following improvements:
A deeper JRPG experience with expanded difficulty options;
A clearer and more accessible UI and information system;
Richer story presentation;
More NPC voice acting;
Improved combat, exploration, and progression systems;
More features designed to enhance long-term gameplay.
We hope the Jimo: Three Kingdoms series can continue to grow from a story-focused adventure into a Chinese ink-inspired Three Kingdoms JRPG with deeper systems and richer gameplay.
