It's been very exciting to get the demo in the hands of players!
Based on initial feedback we've already been hard at work adding in a first set of QoL improvements, as well as minor revisions to some game systems:
Some wild monsters will now only appear at certain times of the day or in certain seasons!
Players can now sell surplus crops, food and even monsters for extra coins.
Revised the egg system to now require Monster Essence instead of coins! Collect a monster's Essence by defeating them in wild battles.
You can now recover ingredients from the cookpot if the cooking hasn't started yet.
The racing minigame has been improved. Players can now also use SPACE bar to boost their monster as it jumps over obstacles.
You wouldn't really sell your Chardinal would you?? Monster eggs now require Essence instead of coins. And the cookpot's ingredients can be recovered.
We're also fixed a few bugs, most notably:
Fixed the corn being mislabeled as wheat.
Fixed a case where game transparency didn't work (instead players would get a black screen as background). This issue would arise if players started up the game and, before the game was fully initialised, the player swapped to a different program.
