Additions
Added the ability to give lots and exported lots descriptions, and added accompanying descriptions to lots on default maps
Added the pronoun removal joke feature from the April Fools post as a commandline switch. For more info, see the launch arguments article.
Added a gravel tile, which objects that require dirt, grass or sandy ground can be placed on
Added a variety of invisible colorable lights as non-buyable objects, which can be used to spruce up lighting in various places
Improvements
Overhauled culling, increasing rendering performance especially on lower-end devices. Please let us know if you notice objects popping in and out near the borders of the screen after the update.
The green dots for new objects can new be disabled in the hints settings
Tinies can now walk over lawn edging
Default Tinies now also have random default age days, causing them not to all age up and die at the same time
Slightly improved lot import menu loading performance
Fixes
Fixed a crash when loading a save with missing tiles
Fixed Tinies being able to age up twice when blowing out a candle close to midnight
Fixed being able to place openings in fences
Fixed lot previews of taller lots being cut off at the top
API
Rooms that are off-lot are now always treated as "set dressing," meaning their contents will never show, their walls will never go down, and their doors will be inaccessible
Mods can now add custom play mode tool tabs
