I am extremely happy to announce that we just updated the demo with a year's worth of QOL, new systems, bug fixes, and more!
This is no mere patch - this is our demo 2.0.
Not only have we added 2 new languages, allowing many more overseers to now guide the Knights through the Shoals...but we've also fixed hundreds of bugs, revamped systems, added new ones, given Knights self preservation behavior systems, added cinematics, added a leveling system, and much, much more.
Here's a more extended list of what you can expect :
-Added 2 new languages for localization.
-Added Knight leveling system.
-Re-did art for events.
-Added cinematics when you unlock buildings in the kingdom.
-Update to Knight auto behaviors for self defense, and self-preservation.
-Updated art for all the buildable Kingdom interiors in the demo.
-Can now use targeting systems with some gear items(for jetpacks, deployables, AOE launchers, targeted snipers etc).
-Fixed an issue where randomization was not fully working, and was accidentally locking a lot of the content.
-Added automatic benchmarking when starting the game, and fixed some graphic settings issues.
->(The game should be both more optimized and look nicer by default.)
-Added multi-choice for many events as opposed to just "investigate".
-Exposed seed system so players can start from a specific seed.
-Added many new gear items, enemies, events, perks and buffs.
-Auto pickup of buildings when extracting.
-More work on navigation and collision.
-QOL for placing buildings (will auto-rotate).
-Optimized performance.
-Added mouse hover states.
-Fixed critical crashes.
-And more surprises. We hope that you join us in taking a look at what is now a closer version of what our target vision is for this game, and as always, we very much look forward to any and all feedback you might have!
