changedHello! I'm happy to release this first part of updates to improve controller support in Thunder Helix.
changedThe main change you will notice is the addition of an information bar in all non-gameplay "front-end" interface screens. This will list the inputs available for that screen with appropriate controller buttons (or keyboard keys) shown.
fixedIn addition a serious crash bug has been detected and resolved. Certain systems were experiencing crash-to-desktop errors on startup caused by the Windows MME sub-system. Thunder Helix was using this, in part, to support joysticks. This has been removed, leaving the more common DirectInput and XInput APIs still available. It is not expected that existing working controllers will stop working. Please report this on the discussion forum if that happens. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
