For the past weeks I've been working non-stop on a code for making a functional map for TWOTA based on a side project I'm also working on. This code allows me to do two things that you don't normally see in visual novels, which is basically navigation and story at the same time. This will shorten the story significantly because I don't need to literally explain to you where Anon needs to go since you will have the option of going wherever you want.
Steam post imageSteam post imageSteam post imageThis is how the system works for those who understand a little bit of how Ren'Py works; basically, the story flow is the same, but I set the navigation mode whenever I want, so instead of actually telling you that Anon went to X place, you can do it instead. Once you reach that certain point, the story mode resumes so the story flow never breaks.
