My initial plan for Thin Judgment was to actively update the game, but instead I lowered the price and decided to work on the next project.

Thin Judgment had an interesting concept, but, with the way it is, there isn't much room for improvement. Which is why I have began working on what I consider an adaptation to Thin Judgment.

Mistakes

You are looking at a one-manned game made by a complete amateur. I'm grateful that I had an opportunity to spread my game here on Steam. Even if it hardly spread (cries). I've learned a lot from hearing people's experiences with Thin Judgment, and they made me catch a lot of my mistakes. I don't want to rant on exactly what my mistakes were, but I'll try to generalize. Please, if you think I missed something, just let me know!

  • Giving challeneges. Specifically button mashing. Never again.

  • Player friendliness. I found players were confused without having me explain things to them. That's a no-no. I should have done a better job explaining through the game itself.

  • Lack of lore. There were some notes, but that's about it. I've created such a intricate idea in my head of The Facility the player works in. Yet, I never shared that idea to its fullest.

  • Lots of technical stuff. Making a game look good was hard, making it run effieciently was harder. Until you do it a couple times, then it gets easier.

My hope is, if all goes well, to not make these mistakes a second time.

Thinnest Judgment

Thinnest Judgment will be based off the vague universe created in Thin Judgment. The player works in a fully explorable facility which researches on inorganic beings shaped like one-dimensional people. Employees of The Facility live their entire lives, albeit short, there. Your goal is to escape or, alternatively, destroy The Facility. Now... Time to get to work. Making a game takes a while, especially alone and without money, but I plan to put every last drop of my heart and soul into this. Failure is not an option!
